Reducing carbon emissions in Vácrátót

The Norway Grants has supported the municipality of Vácrátót in Hungary with 3 million Euros to develop a heating system to reduce carbon emissions. The project and its local and global impact were presented at the international Zoo horticulture conference in Hungary on May 27th.

Preserving local history in Onga

In Onga, the Norway Grants have helped preserve the village’s history for coming generations. With support from the Grants, photos, interviews, books, educational paths and DVDs has been collected and prepared, and in June the museum’s permanent exhibition was officially inaugurated.

After 15 years, the Hungarian Maltese Charity Association can finally exchange their 30-year old lung screening bus with a new, state of the art bus. The inauguration took place in May and the guests could visit both the new and the old bus.
