Municipalities generally compete in many fields with each other. In the framework of the “European Capital of Biodiversity” municipalities in France, Germany, Slovakia, Spain and Hungary will compete in biodiversity protection in 2010 and 2011.
The aim of the competition is to contribute to increase awareness among citizens of the richness of nature.
All municipalities in Hungary, from small villages to large cities, are invited to participate and compete for the prestige title “Capital of Biodiversity”.
To participate in the competition, all you need to do is to fill in and submit the questionnaire, which can be downloaded from here. The closing date of the competition is May 31, 2010.
